LAST WEEK'S RECORD: 2-1-0 OVERALL RECORD: 34-19-7, 75 pts.

March 11 @ Las Vegas, 2-1 Shootout Win - Jim Lorentz tied the game at one mid-way through the third period, which eventually sent the game to overtime. After a scoreless five-minute extra period, Shaun Sutter scored the only goal for either team in the ensuing shootout and goaltender Brett Jaeger stopped all five Wranglers shooters to secure the victory.

March 12 vs. Bakersfield, 4-2 Win - Four different Falcons scored and Brett Jaeger made 38 saves to move Fresno to 4-0-0 against Bakersfield at Save Mart Center this season.

March 13 vs. Bakersfield, 4-1 Loss - The Condors avenged the previous evening's loss by effectively putting the game out of reach with two goals early in the second to open up a 3-0 lead. David Brisson scored in the third to spoil Yutaka Fukufuji's shutout bid in goal for the visitors.

THIS WEEK'S UPCOMING GAMES

Tuesday, March 15 vs. Alaska Aces, 7 p.m. - Two-time Stanley Cup Champion and ECHL points leader Scott Gomez leads his first-place Aces into Fresno. The game is a Carl's Jr. Two-for-Tuesday with coupons good for two-for-one tickets available at participating Carl's Jr. locations.

Friday, March 18 @ Las Vegas, 7 p.m. - The Falcons make their second of three March trips to Las Vegas. B2 Networks will carry the live video webcast of the game on a pay-per-view basis via the Falcons home page at www.fresnofalcons.com.

NOTES

. Charles Simard is sixth in the league in scoring among defensemen with 39 points (6g-33a).

. Goaltender Brett Jaeger is tied for sixth in the league in save percentage (93.0%) and tied for 12th in the league in goals against average (2.37).

. Saturday's victory over Bakersfield tied a season-high as the Falcons' sixth straight win at home. Fresno also won six straight at Save Mart Center from Dec. 17 - Jan. 28.

. Sunday's loss to the Condors marked just the third regulation loss at Save Mart Center since a 1-5-1 start to the home campaign. The Falcons are 19-3-1 over their last 23 in Fresno dating back to Nov. 9.

. The Falcons are ranked 4th (18.9%) on the power play and 8th (85.2%) on the penalty kill.

. Fresno begins the week in sole possession of fourth place in the West Division, three points behind the third-place Long Beach Ice Dogs and eight points back of the division-leading Alaska Aces. They have a six point lead over the fast-charging Idaho Steelheads, who have two games in hand.
