Karpa Placed On IR

San Diego Gulls News Release
SAN DIEGO â NHL veteran defenseman David Karpa was placed on the seven-day injured list, retroactive to Sunday, after suffering a groin injury during Saturday's game against the Las Vegas Wranglers.
Karpa has eight points (1g, 7a) and 49 penalty minutes in 13 games for the Gulls this season. He is also a +3.
He signed with San Diego on Feb. 12. Karpa has played 557 games in the NHL with Quebec, Anaheim, Carolina and New York (Rangers).
Karpa missed Sunday's game against the Alaska Aces and will miss Friday's game against the Long Beach Ice Dogs and Saturday's game against Las Vegas.
