Ice Pilots go 2-1-0 this week and continue with the best record in the ECHL at 41-14-5 for 87 points. The Ice Pilots began the week on Wednesday losing 5-1 at Mississippi. Jordan Krestanovich scored the only goal of the game for the Ice Pilots. Todd Ford was the losing goalie.

The Ice Pilots won 4-2 at Pee Dee on Friday night. Jordan Krestanovich scored two goals and picked up one assist. Alex Materuhkin scored a shorthanded goal and picked up two assists. Chris St. Jacques also scored on the power play. Todd Ford was the winning goalie. The Ice Pilots out shot Pee Dee 30-28.

The Ice Pilots won a 2-1 shootout at Charlotte on Saturday night. Jordan Krestanovich scored for the Ice Pilots in regulation. Dwayne Hay and Nick Lindberg scored for the Ice Pilots in the shootout as Frederic Cloutier stopped four of five Charlotte shooters in the shootout. The Ice Pilots had 26 shots on goal and Charlotte had 36 shots on goal. Frederic Cloutier was the winning goalie winning his 26th game of the season.

The Ice Pilots have a record of 41-14-5 for 87 points. The 41 wins is the most ever by an Ice Pilots team during the regular season.

Race for the Brabham Cup. The Brabham Cup is awarded to the team with the most points at the end of the regular season.

It is another Florida Lottery Second Chance Night. It will be the first ever meeting between the two teams and the Ice Pilots will play home to Augusta on Saturday, March 26. It is IHOP Bunny Toss Night on March 26. Fans are encouraged to bring a stuffed bunny to the game and when the Ice Pilots score the first goal of the game to toss the stuffed bunnies onto the ice. The stuffed bunnies will be distributed to kids at local hospitals and schools throughout the Pensacola area.

Leading Scorers: Tyler Beechey leads the Ice Pilots in scoring with 66 points and is the third leading scorer in the league. Beechey also leads the team with 27 goals and with 39 assists. Beechey has been recalled to St. John's of the AHL. Corey Neilson is the leading scoring defenseman in the league with 48 points. Nielson also is third in the league among defenseman with 12 goals and is tied for first all defenseman with 36 assists. Todd Ford has the 8th best goals against average in the league at 2.26. Frederic Cloutier is first in the league among goalies with 26 wins and is second in the league with 1,197 saves. Cloutier is tenth in the league with a 2.34 goals against average. Scott May is second in the league with a .203 shooting percentage.

Tentative Practice Schedule this week; The Ice Pilots will have Monday off . The Ice Pilots will have an off ice work out on Tuesday. The Ice Pilots will have a tentative practice at around 5 p.m. on Wednesday and leave for Augusta on Wednesday night at midnight. The Ice Pilots will practice in Augusta on Thursday and play at Augusta on Friday and Saturday night at 6:35 p.m. central time. The Ice Pilots tentatively have Sunday off.

Ice Pilots Announce Ticket Packages for Kelly Cup Playoffs and 2005-06 Regular Season: The 14 home game Kelly Cup Playoff ticket invoices have been mailed out. Current Season Ticket holders who purchase the playoff package will have the option to apply any unused balance of the playoff tickets to next year's season tickets or have their balance refunded if any of the 14 home playoff games are not played. Playoff payments are due in full by March 31, 2005.

The renewal process for the 2005-2006 season tickets has begun. There is a dollar increase per ticket for all ticket types in all price levels for 2005-06. Early Bird Special: Season ticket holders can put down a $50 deposit per ticket thru March 31, 2005 witht eh full balance for 2005-06 season tickets due in full by September 1, 2005. There is a monthly payment plan option of 12 payments, beginning May 1, 2005 and ending April 1, 2006.

Dodge Player of the Week: Forward Jordan Krestanovich has been nominated for the ECHL Player of the Week. Krestanovich has scored four goals this week. Goalie Frederic Cloutier has been nominated for the ECHL Goalie of the Week. Cloutier won a 2-1 shootout on Saturday at Charlotte. Krestanovich has been named the Dodge Player of the Week.

Barnes Ace Hardware and Feed will be sponsoring the Ice Pilots leading scorer award this season. During the season, we will be updating you with the Barnes Ace Hardware and Feed Ice Pilots top scorer. At the end of the season, Barnes Ace Hardware and Feed will present a trophy to the Ice Pilots top scorer. Fans will have an update on the Barnes Ace Hardware and Feed top scorer in the weekly release and at www.icepilots.com. Tyler Beechey is the top scorer on the Ice Pilots with 66 points. Jordan Krestanovich is second with 53 points. Aaron Phillips is third with 50 points and Corey Neilson is fourth with 48 points.

Assigned Players from Toronto Maple Leafs: The Ice Pilots currently have nine players on the roster assigned from Toronto. They are center Scott May, goalie Todd Ford, defenseman Dave Turon, defenseman Dominic D'Amour, center Chris St. Jacques, center Kris Newbury, center Cory Stillman, left wing Robb Palahnuk left wing Cam Keith and defenseman Tyson Marsh. Dominic D'Amour, Robb Palahnuk, Tyson Marsh, Tyler Beechey and Kris Newbury have been recalled to St. John's of the AHL. Bill Kinkel and Jason Beckett have been recalled to Houston of the AHL.

Kerr's Kids: For the second season in a row the Ice Pilots are introducing "Kerr's Kids." Thanks to Ice Pilots owner Tim Kerr and SMG (Pensacola Civic Center), the Ice Pilots would like to invite organizations devoted to helping children who are terminally ill or have special limitations to be our guest during the 2004-05 regular season for a great night of hockey. Each organization is encouraged to pick 3-4 dates throughout the regular season. The Ice Pilots will provide free admission for 12 people (We would like to have at least 6 or more children, escorts are required for the children and are counted as part of the 12). SMG will provide a hot dog and soda for each guest. If accessible seating is needed the Ice Pilots must be notified at least 2 days in advance and seating will be arranged. All members must stay in assigned seats. Please provide a list of attendee's 24 hours prior to game day. Listen to games on the Ice Pilots Hockey Network with the new Ice Pilots Flagship radio home AM 1620: Fans can listen to Ice Pilots games on the Ice Pilots Hockey Network. The network includes new flagship radio station AM 1620, Cox Communications and at icepilots.com sponsored by Sports Avenue. The game will also be taped delayed by Leafs TV. The pre game show for Friday and Saturday's games will begin at 6:20 p.m.

Ice Pilots Offer Pay-Per-View Webcasts with B2 Networks this season. The Ice Pilots home games and several road games will be available for viewing on the Ice Pilots website at www.icepilots.com. The Ice Pilots have partnered with B2 Networks based in Las Vegas, Nevada on the pay-per-view broadcast.

Fans will be able to click on the "Watch the Game Live" icon at the Ice Pilots website to view and listen to the game. The broadcast is available to fans with a high speed DSL or Cable modem internet connection and the charge is $6 per game. At this time a total of 58 of the Ice Pilots 72 regular season games will be available for viewing at www.icepilots.com. As of this Monday, March 14th B2 Networks was not available in Augusta.

Ice Pilots Radio Show at the Gutter Lounge again this season: The Ice Pilots Radio show will once again be broadcasted from the Gutter Lounge at Phoenix Crossing inside the new Liberty Lanes this year located at 3200 North Palafox Street. The show is broadcasted on the Ice Pilots hockey network from 6 p.m. - 7 p.m. Fans can hear the radio show on the Ice Pilots new flagship radio station AM 1620 and on the internet at www.icepilots.com sponsored by Sports Avenue. Fans can meet the players, head coach Dave Farrish and members of the Ice Pilots office staff all season long. Ryan Vince and Aaron Phillips will be the player guests tonight.
