Trenton Devils News Release

TRENTON, NJ - The Trenton Titans registered five out of a possible eight points this week, but find themselves one point out of the playoff picture.

The Titans started the week with a comeback that fell short in a 4-3 shootout loss to the Peoria Rivermen on Tuesday.

Trenton's winless extended streak extended to four games with a 7-1 defeat at the hands of the Dayton Bombers on Wednesday.

The Titans returned home and got back to their winning ways with a 3-0 shutout of the Wheeling Nailers on Friday and a 6-2 drubbing of the Bombers on Saturday.

Trenton takes to the road for four games beginning with the Charlotte Checkers on Tuesday, then a two-game series against the Toledo Storm on Friday and Saturday and the Reading Royals on Sunday.

The Trenton Titans are in fifth place in the North Division, one point behind the Toledo Storm and just three points behind the first place Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies and Wheeling Nailers.
