The Johnstown Chiefs (19-26-14; 52 PTS; 7th North div.) extended their winless streak to 11 games as they had losses against Atlantic City and Toledo and an overtime loss versus Wheeling. This week the Chiefs will play three games in three nights, beginning Thursday night at home against the Peoria Rivermen. Friday they are at Wheeling and Saturday night Dayton. The Chiefs remain in seventh place in the North division trailing sixth place Peoria by fifteen points.

Game #57 (3/11/05) Atlantic City 3- JOHNSTOWN 1 Sullivan Goal

Former Johnstown Chief Jason Notermann led the visiting Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies with a goal and an assist en route to Atlantic City's 3-1 win over the Chiefs Friday night at the War Memorial. Jeff Sullivan scored the lone Johnstown goal. Peter Bourzanakis and Ian Walterson also scored for Atlantic City. Chiefs goaltender David Cann made 22 saves in the game. Trevor Koenig made 20 saves for his 20th win of the season.

Game #58 (3/12/05) Wheeling 3 - JOHNSTOWN 2 (OT) Van Hoof Goal, Assist

Wheeling Nailers defensemen Ed McGrane scored with 1:04 left in overtime on the power play to lift the visitors to a 3-2 win over the Johnstown Chiefs Saturday night in front of a sellout crowd of 3,844 at the War Memorial Arena. Jeremy Van Hoof and Dmitri Tarabrin scored for Johnstown. Hodge and James Laux scored for Wheeling. Chiefs goaltender David Cann made 29 saves while Wheeling goalie Andy Chiodo made 35 saves.

Game #59 (3/13/05) Toledo 4 - JOHNSTOWN 3 Mather Goal, Assist

The Johnstown Chiefs squandered a 2-0 lead Sunday afternoon as the visiting Toledo Storm scored three third period goals en route to a 4-3 win Sunday afternoon at the War Memorial Arena. Shawn Mather, Matt Reid and Brian Collins scored for Johnstown. P.J. Martin, Shawn Collymore, P.L. Sleigher and Paul Ballantyne scored for Toledo. Chiefs goaltender David Cann suffered the loss making 24 saves. Scott Fankhouser made 28 saves for Toledo.

The Chiefs finish their five game home stand Thursday night against the Peoria Rivermen (30-20-7, 67 PTS; 6th North div.). The Chiefs are 3-2-0 against the Rivermen this season and 24-29-6 all-time. The Rivermen are 7-3-0 in their last ten games.

Friday night, the Chiefs begin their eight game road trip when they travel to Wheeling to take on the Nailers (35-21-4, 74 PTS; T-1st North div.). The Chiefs are 1-4-1 against the Nailers this season. Wheeling is 5-4-1 in their last ten games.

Saturday night, the Chiefs travel to Dayton for the final time in the regular season. The Chiefs are 5-2-0 against the Bombers (20-35-4, 44 PTS; 8th North div.) this season and 49-48-8 all-time. The Bombers have scored a National Conference low 140 goals on the season. The Bombers are 4-6-0 in their last ten games.

- The Chiefs set a club record for the longest winless streak in team history over the weekend. The Chiefs have been winless in their last eleven games (0-8-3). The Chiefs were winless in nine straight games from 11/24/00-12/16/00.

- Friday, the Chiefs embark on a seven game, ten day road trip. The trip will cover 1,992 miles as the Chiefs make stops in Wheeling, Dayton, Peoria, Reading and Atlantic City.
