Friday, March 18th Inferno @ SC Stingrays N. Charleston Col. 7:05pm

The Stingrays is currently tied for second place with 72 points (32-19-8) along with the Inferno. The Inferno has 2 games at hand on the Stingrays. This is the last meeting between the Inferno and South Carolina. The Inferno is 4-3-2 this year and 19-9-3 all-time against the Stingrays.

Saturday, March 19th Inferno vs. Mississippi SeaWolves Carolina Coliseum 7:30pm

This is the second game this season for the Inferno and Mississippi. The Inferno is 0-0-1 this season against the SeaWolves and 1-1-2 all-time. The SeaWolves is in 4th place in the South Division with 67 points (31-22-5).

Sunday, March 20th Inferno @ Gwinnett Gladiators The Arena @ Gwt. 4:05pm

Gwinnett is in 3rd place in the South Division with 68 points (30-18-8). This is the last game between the Gladiators and Inferno. Columbia is 6-4-1 all-time and 3-2-1 this season against Gwinnett.

Tuesday, March 8th Inferno 1 GWINNETT 2

The Gwinnett Gladiators notched one more goal than the Columbia Inferno as they win 2-1. Gwinnett scored with seven seconds left in the first period on the power play with a goal by Brad Schell. At 7:29 of the second period, Mike Stathopoulos scored the game-winning goal for the Gladiators. Eric Boulton scored the only goal for the Inferno at 10:49 of the second with assists to Chanse Fitzpatrick and Derek Eastman. Rob McVicar stopped 32 of 34 shots on goal.

Thursday, March 10th Inferno 2 PEE DEE 4

Brad Ralph and Walker McDonald each scored for the Inferno as they drop to the Pee Dee Pride 4-2. Mike Minard was in goal for Columbia stopping 26 of 30 shots.

Friday, March 11th Inferno 3 TEXAS 4 (SO)

The Columbia Inferno earned a point in the South Division as they lost to the Texas Wildcatters in a shootout 4-3. Texas opened the scoring at 9:59 with a goal by Kevin Cooper with a shot over the right shoulder of goaltender Rob McVicar. Ryan Campbell tied the game for the Inferno at 11:28 with his 11th goal of the season as he scored in front of the net. Texas went up 2-1 with Cooper scoring his second goal of the night at 15:01. Brad Ralph notched his 22nd goal of the season to tie the game at two with a slapshot at 8:34 of the second period with assists to Robin Carruthers and Rob McVicar. Texas scored their third goal of the night at 14:44 to go up by one for the second time in the game. Columbia tied the game at 2:26 with a goal D'Arcy McConvey with help from Trevor Demmans. After a scoreless overtime period, the Inferno lost 2-1 in the shootout. Columbia outshot the Wildcatters 57-28.

Saturday, March 12th INFERNO 5 Texas 0

The Columbia Inferno dominated as they shutout the Texas Wildcatters 5-0. Brad Ralph opened the scoring at 1:31 of the second period with a wrist shot after Ryan Campbell and Trevor Demmans set him up. Demmans, on the power play, takes a slapshot from the point and sails the puck passed goaltender Phil Osaer at 15:19. Matt Ulwelling and John Longo had the assist. Eric Boulton scored his first of two goals on the power play as he went high with a shot from the face-off circle with passes from D'Arcy McConvey and Derek Eastman. Longo nets his ninth goal of the season on the third power play opportunity for the Inferno with help from Campbell and Demmans to give the Inferno a 4-0 lead. At 19:43, Boulton scores off of a rebound from a shot by Demmans. Longo had the second assist as he won the face-off. Mike Minard was solid in goal, stopping 37 shots to record his fourth shutout of the season and improves his record to 19-5-6.
