LAST WEEK'S RECORD: 2-1-0 OVERALL RECORD: 26-17-5, 57 pts.

February 8 vs. Bakersfield, 3-2 Shootout Win - The Falcons twice overcame one-goal deficits with power play goals from Shaun Sutter and Dan Tessier, the latter 47 seconds into the third period, before winning in a shootout on goals from Sutter and Charles Simard. Jamie Hodson made 33 saves in regulation and overtime and stopped all four Condors he faced in the shootout.

February 11 @ Bakersfield, 1-0 Loss - Jamie Hodson stopped the first 57 shots the Condors sent his way until Paul Rosebush scored on a clean break-away at 15:09 of the third period as the Falcons suffered their fifth shutout of the season.

February 12 @ San Diego, 4-1 Win - Special teams and goaltending were the difference in this showdown between two teams tied for fourth place in the West Division. Fresno converted three of its five power plays while killing off all six of San Diego's chances, and goaltender Brett Jaeger made 42 saves as the Falcons stayed on the road to defeat the Gulls, who entered the game with the best home record in the league.

THIS WEEK'S UPCOMING GAMES

Tuesday, Feb. 15 @ Victoria, 7 p.m. - The Falcons venture back to British Columbia for a two-game set with the eighth-place Salmon Kings. Catch all of the live play-by-play action on 103.1 FM, The Mountain Cat, beginning at 6:50 p.m. with the pre-game show.

Wednesday, Feb. 16 @ Victoria, 7 p.m. - The final meeting of the year with Victoria. The live radio broadcast begins at 6:50 p.m. with the pre-game show on 103.1 FM, The Mountain Cat.

Friday, Feb. 18 vs. San Diego, 7 p.m. - The Falcons will wear specialty jerseys honoring our nation's military during this re-match with the Gulls. After the game, the jerseys will be auctioned off to benefit the American Red Cross in the Bulldog Foundation Room at Save Mart Center.

Sunday, Feb. 20 vs. Las Vegas, 5 p.m. - Fresno plays host to the seventh-place Wranglers, coached by former Falcons great Glen Gulutzan. The game is a Falcons Family Day, featuring four tickets, four hot dogs and four soft drinks for just $40 - a savings of more than $30!

NOTES

. Goaltender Jamie Hodson added to his league-leading shootout win

total when he captured his sixth shootout win of the season on Tuesday. . Hodson made a league season-high 58 saves during Friday's loss to the Condors.

. Goaltender Brett Jaeger's win on Saturday was his first victory since a Jan. 1 decision over the Johnstown Chiefs.

. Until Jason Weaver scored the team's fourth goal on Saturday, the Falcons had scored eight goals in a row on the power play dating back to a Feb. 5th 5-4 shootout loss to the Victoria Salmon Kings.

. The Falcons are ranked 1st (20.1%) on the power play and 13th (84.0%) on the penalty kill.
