Tuesday vs. Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies, (3-4* L)

Dayton, OH – The Dayton Bombers dropped a 4-3 shootout decision to the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies in front of 1,410 at the Nutter Center Tuesday night. TYLER KOLARIK, TYLER SCOTT and MATHIEU BRUNELLE scored for the Bombers, who opened a 3-1 lead in the second period. The Bullies comeback began when Colin Shields scored back-to-back goals at 16:45 of the second period, and 6:59 of the third period to tie the game, 3-3. Paul Caponigri scored the only goal in the shootout as AC rallied for the 4-3 win.

Friday at Peoria Rivermen, (3-2* W)

Peoria, ILL – The Dayton Bombers nipped the Peoria Rivermen 3-2 in the 10th round of the shootout in front of 4,739 at The Peoria Civic Center Friday night. The teams were tied 2-2 after two periods. There was no scoring in the third period, and no scoring in overtime. The Bombers received shootout goals from Brent Ozarowski, Tyler Kolarik, Scott Basiuk and Tyler Scott, while Ayers stopped Ed Hill in the 10th round of the shootout to secure the 3-2 victory.

Saturday vs. Peoria Rivermen, (3-0 W)

Dayton, OH – The Dayton Bombers shutout the Peoria Rivermen, 3-0, in front of 3,851 at the Nutter Center Saturday night. It was the first shutout victory for the Bombers this season, and Dayton is now 3-0-1 in their last 4 games. The Bombers scored three times on ten shots in the first period, and held on for the 3-0 win. BRETT NOWAK opened the scoring at 7:04 of the first period. SCOTT CAMERON made it 2-0 with a shorthanded goal at 14:50. And Nowak capped the scoring with a shorthanded goal of his own at 16:56.

Saturday vs. Trenton Titans, (3-2 L)

Dayton, OH – The Dayton Bombers dropped a 3-2 decision to the Trenton Titans in front of 2,379 at the Nutter Center Sunday afternoon. MATT HERNEISEN gave Dayton a 1-0 lead, and former Bombers defenseman Mike Schutte tied the game, 1-1, with a powerplay goal at 19:44. A SHG from Leon Hayward gave Trenton a 2-1 lead at 5:45 of the second period. Hayward's 2nd goal of the night made it 3-1. A late goal from AARON FOSTER pulled Dayton within one.
