LAST WEEK'S RECORD: 2-1-0 OVERALL RECORD: 18-35-6, 42 pts.

March 2 vs. South Carolina, 4-1 Loss – Mike Mathers was Fresno's only goal scorer as the Falcons gave up three power play goals to the Stingrays in the team's final game against a non-Pacific Division opponent.

March 3 vs. Las Vegas, 5-4 Win – A roller coaster ride that saw the Falcons blow a one-goal lead by giving up two goals :20 seconds apart early in the third period, the club fought back with goals from Jason Weaver and then Jordan Landry with just over two minutes remaining in regulation to defeat the Wranglers.

March 7 vs. Las Vegas, 1-0 Win – Goaltender Mike Brusseau recorded the first shutout in Save Mart Center history by making 39 saves as Kris Porter's goal mid-way through the second period was all the help he needed to defeat the Wranglers for the second game in a row.

THIS WEEK'S UPCOMING GAMES

Friday, March 12 @ San Diego, 7:30 p.m. – The Falcons battle the Pacific Division-leading San Diego Gulls (live radio broadcast on KAAT 103.1 FM at 7:20 p.m. beginning with the Shop and Go Pre-game Show).

Saturday, March 13 @ San Diego, 7 p.m. – Second of two in a row from the San Diego Sports Arena (live radio broadcast on KAAT 103.1 FM at 6:50 p.m. beginning with the Shop and Go Pre-game Show).

NOTES

· Mike Brusseau's shutout on Sunday was the team's first since the first game of the season when Nolan Schaefer blanked the Bakersfield Condors. Over Fresno's last 10 games, Brusseau is 4-3-0 with a 2.17 goals against average and .937 save percentage.

· Kris Porter's game-winner on Saturday was his 14th goal of the year, the second highest total on the club. He continues to lead the team in overall scoring with 41 points (14g-27a).

· The Falcons are 5-2-1 at home since a 4-3 win against the Alaska Aces on Feb. 13.

· Fresno is 22nd (15.4%) on the power play and 23rd (80.6%) on the penalty kill.

· The Falcons begin the week in last place in the Pacific Division, four points behind the sixth-place Long Beach Ice Dogs and 7 points behind the fifth-place Bakersfield Condors. They are currently 24 points out of the division's fourth and final playoff position.
