West Valley City, Utah - The Utah Grizzlies (27-25-2-5) scored four third period goals to defeat the Stockton Thunder 5-2 Friday night at the E-Center before 5,111 fans.

$13,300 was raised for the St. Jude Children's Hospital and Foundation after the game as the Grizzlies auctioned off live their New York Islanders themed third-jerseys that they wore on Friday nights this season.

Utah broke open a 1-1 third period tie with three goals in 3:04 from 2:57 to 6:01. Lance Galbraith got the scoring started with a power-play goal at 2:57 to make it 2-1. 30 seconds later at 3:17, Steve McJannet scored what proved to be the game-winning goal as Tom May fed him from the corner directly in front of the net. After Stockton made it 3-2 at 4:49, Galbraith fired in another puck to get Utah their two-goal lead back and make it 4-2.

Captain Ryan Kinasewich finished the scoring with an empty-net goal (34) with 27 seconds left in regulation as Peter Aston capped off a multiple-point night with his second assist of the game.

Utah took a 1-0 lead 6:38 into the first period on James Sixsmith's 19th goal of the year as he extended his scoring streak to a current ECHL-high of 12 games. Tim Crowder picked up an assist on the play to start his three-point night.

Beau Erickson stopped 28 of 30 shots to improve to 5-1 in his last six E-Center starts.

Utah and Stockton meet again Saturday at 7:05 p.m. and Sunday at 4:05 p.m. at the E-Center.
