Las Vegas, NV - The Las Vegas Wranglers® (28-26-7, 63 Points) defeated the Bakersfield Condors (32-23-5, 69 Points) 5-4 in front of 5,019 fans during Girl Scout Night at the Orleans Arena.

Special teams ruled the night as the Wranglers would score three times on five power play opportunities and Bakersfield would score twice out of four opportunities. Five different Wranglers would light the lamp and Jimmy Spratt, making his home debut, earned his 4th win of the season in six appearances as he stopped 31 of 35 Bakersfield shots. Timo Pielmeier took the loss as he made 23 saves on 28 shots. With the victory the Wranglers moved into second place in the Pacific Division.

The visitors jumped ahead early in the first period as Mark Voakes was left alone in the slot and fired home a rebound of an Andrew Ianiero shot at the 3:15 mark. Less than two minutes later the Wranglers would notch the first of three power play goals on the evening as Jason Krischuk fired home a shot from the blue line to tie the game at 1-1. Less than 90 seconds later the Wranglers would claim their first lead of the night as Justin Bernhardt poked in a loose puck for the 2-1 lead. Bakersfield would even the score at 2-2 as they would notch the first of their two power play goals on the night.

A scrum at the end of the first period netted Bakersfield a power play to begin the second frame. Stephane Goulet took advantage of the opportunity as he tapped in a pass from Ryan Menei just 35 seconds into the period to give the Condors a 3-2 lead. At the 5:57 mark Mick Lawrence redirected a shot by Mike Madill to tie the game at three goals a piece. Less than 2 minutes later Josh Prudden would get his own rebound and score to give the Wranglers their second lead of the night. On the play, newcomer Tomas Petruska netted his first professional point with an assist.

The Wranglers would stretch the lead to 5-3 as Alex Bourret would bank a high angle shot in off of an opposing player with 2 seconds remaining on a power play. Dan Kissel would notch his first career goal for the visitors at the 14:35 mark on a wrist shot, but that would be as close as the Condors would get as the Wranglers held on for the 5-4 victory.
