Florida Panthers Recall F Drew Shore from San Antonio

SUNRISE, Fla. - Florida Panthers Executive Vice President/General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that the club has recalled F Drew Shore from San Antonio (AHL). In addition, the team announced that D Mike Mottau has been reassigned to San Antonio.

Shore, 23 has played in 60 National Hockey League games, all with Florida (2012-2014), registering 18 points (7-11-18) and 16 PIM. He has played in 17 games with the Panthers this season, scoring four goals with one assist. Shore has also appeared in 37 games for San Antonio this year registering 21 points (5-16-21).

Mottau, 35, has played in seven games with Florida this season, while also appearing in 13 games with San Antonio registering two points (1-1-2). He has played in 320 National Hockey League games with Florida, the New York Rangers (2000-2002), Calgary (2002-2003), New Jersey (2007-2010), New York Islanders (2010-2012) and Boston (2011-2012) recording 58 points (7-51-58) and 160 PIM.

Florida hosts the Washington Capitals in their first game back after the Olympic break on Thursday, Feb. 27 at 7:30 p.m. The game can be seen live on Fox Sports Florida and heard on 560 WQAM and ESPN 106.3 FM.
