Oklahoma City Barons News Release
Oklahoma City - The Oklahoma City Barons and Central Oklahoma Habitat for Humanity are teaming to dedicate a home that Barons players, coaches and staff recently helped build. The dedication takes place at the home site at 3736 SE 23rd Street at 2 p.m. in COHFH's Epperly Heights addition on Tuesday, February 25.
Habitat for Humanity's Epperly Heights addition Area is located north of SE 29th street between Bryant and Sunnylane Rd. The address home is approximately a mile and a half south of I-40 and Sunnylane.
Barons players, coaching and front office staffs took part in the framing of the home October 29. In addition to the keys to their home, the first-time home owner receives a merchandise package from the Barons. Included with the package are four tickets to the team's home game this Saturday against the Rockford IceHogs.
Head coach Todd Nelson, General Manager Bill Scott, and players Ryan Hamilton and Ben Eager are expected to attend. The Barons are at home for a trio of games this weekend, beginning Friday and Saturday against Rockford at 7 p.m. The weekend concludes Sunday afternoon at 4 p.m. with a game against the San Antonio Rampage. All three games are played at the Cox Convention Center and can be heard on the Barons flagship station, 96.1 KXY.
