Fleck Named to CHL All-Star Team

Oklahoma City, Okla. – Oklahoma City Blazers defenseman Tyler Fleck was named to the Northern Conference All-Star Team for the 2004 Dodge Central Hockey League All-Star Game on January 22, the Blazers front office announced today.

Fleck, a 5-10, 200-pounder from Carlyle, Saskatchewan will be making his first appearance on a CHL All-Star team. He is currently second among defensemen in scoring on the Blazers roster with 16 points (1-15-16) and is second in +/- rating at +10. Fleck joins his defensive partner Hardy Sauter as the Blazers' representatives on the Northern Conference CHL All-Star team.

The 2004 Dodge CHL All-Star Game will be played on January 22, 2004 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Ticket packages are available by contacting the New Mexico Scorpions front office at (505) 881-7825.

Oklahoma City skates at home twice this week. January 8, the Blazers tackle the Indianapolis Ice at 7:05 p.m. January 9, the Blazers take on the Amarillo Gorillas for the first time this season. NOTE: Due to a building conflict in Shreveport, Louisiana, the Blazers game originally scheduled for February 12 against Bossier-Shreveport MudBugs at 7:05 p.m. has been changed. The game will now be played on Sunday, January 18 at 5:05 p.m. in Shreveport.
