
Fans Asked to Support 'Buffy's Christmas'

BILOXI, Miss. â The Mississippi Sea Wolves âChristmas Cheerleader' this season is defenseman Derrick Byfuglien (BUFF-len) and the promotion is called âBuffy's Christmas'.
The Sea Wolves organization would greatly appreciate if fans would bring an unwrapped gift, to any of the three home games this weekend. Byfuglien will distribute the gifts to children at area hospitals on Christmas day.
"I want to be able to help lift the spirits of the children in hospitals around the area at Christmas," said Byfuglien. "If I was in the hospital, I would hope someone would help brighten my Christmas day."

The Sea Wolves return home for three games in three nights starting Friday at 7:35 p.m. against the Louisiana IceGators. On Saturday, Mississippi entertains intrastate rival Jackson at 7:35 p.m. Then Sunday, the Sea Wolves host Arkansas at 5:05 p.m. at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum.
