Smith makes the roster as one of the top goaltenders in the ECHL. He currently ranks third in goals against average at 2.36. The rookie netminder has a 6-5-2 record with a .919 save percentage. His biggest moment of the season came back on October 26th in a 2-0 win over the Dayton Bombers. Smith not only became the youngest goaltender in hockey history to score a goal.
