Falcons to Hold Sixth Annual Teddy Bear Toss on Friday

FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno Falcons will hold their sixth annual Teddy Bear Toss this Friday when they host the Johnstown Chiefs at Save Mart Center at 7 p.m. The team is asking fans to bring brand new, unwrapped stuffed animals to the game, which they will throw onto the ice when the Falcons score their first goal. The stuffed animals will then be collected and donated to the Toys for Tots program.

In addition on Friday, the first 2,000 fans will receive a free Falcons t-shirt courtesy of Alpha Designs, KSEE 24, and Y101.

Fresno continues a three-game homestand on Saturday, when the Stockton Thunder visit at 7 p.m. THIS GAME WAS ORIGINALLY SCHEDULED FOR FEB. 12. SEASON TICKET HOLDERS SHOULD USE THEIR TICKETS DATED FEB. 12 TO GAIN ADMISSION TO THE GAME.

Prior to the Falcons game on Saturday, the Fresno State club hockey team will host the College of the Canyons at Save Mart Center at 3:30 p.m. Tickets cost $9 and include admission to both the Bulldogs and Falcons games.

The Falcons wrap-up the weekend on Sunday when they play the first of four in a row against the Alaska Aces at 5 p.m. As at all Sunday home games this season, kids 12 and under are free, and the first 2,000 fans will receive the third in a series of five posters courtesy of Supercuts, Dumont Printing, WB 59, and Mega 97.9.

Individual tickets are on sale now for all three Falcons games this weekend at all Ticketmaster outlets and Save Mart Center's box office. Prices range from $8 - $23.
