
Falcons Spend Busy Week Out in the Community

FRESNO, Calif. â The Fresno Falcons have only one game this week â Friday at 7 p.m. at Save Mart Center against the Alaska Aces â but the Falcons players will keep plenty busy as they are scheduled to make several public appearances between now and Saturday.
The entire Falcons team will skate when the club hosts the first of three "Skate with the Falcons" events tonight at Gateway Ice Center from 7:30 p.m. â 9:30 p.m. Tonight's event is open to season ticket holders only. The second "Skate with the Falcons" is scheduled for this Saturday, Feb. 14, from 4:15 p.m. â 6:15 p.m. at Gateway and is open to the team's Freddie's Kids Club membership. The final "Skate with the Falcons" will be open to the general public and is scheduled for Monday, March 15, from 7:30 p.m. â 9:30 p.m. at Gateway.
Falcons players Terry Friesen, Dominic Periard, Kris Porter, Adam Stefishen, Kevin Truelson and Jason Weaver will sign autographs and visit with fans tomorrow from 5 p.m. â 7 p.m. at Edmonds Jewelers in the Villagio Shopping Center at Blackstone and Nees.
Jordan Landry and Dominic Periard will lend a hand to "Dexter the Magician" when they present the Learning is Magic program to children at Eaton Elementary School on Thursday, Feb. 12, at 1:15 p.m.
Fans will have another chance to mingle with the team after the game on Friday during the club's third specialty jersey auction of the season. The Falcons will wear Valentine's Day-themed jerseys when they face-off against the Aces courtesy of Valley Lahvosh Baking Co., with the post-game jersey auction occurring immediately following the match in the Bulldog Foundation Room at Save Mart Center. All proceeds from the auction will benefit the California Transplant Donor Network.
Finally, Scott Borders, Blair Clarance, Kory Mullin, Mike Sandbeck and Jason Weaver will sign autographs and visit with fans when they make an appearance at Jiffy Lube in the Costco Shopping Center on W. Ashlan in Clovis on Saturday, Feb. 14, from 12 p.m. â 3 p.m.
