
Falcons Announce Schedule Format for 10th Campaign

Springfield, MA â The Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League (AHL) today announced their schedule of opponents for the 2003-04 season. The Falcons will face-off versus Eastern Conference rivals for each of the club's 80 regular season games. Springfield's complete 10th anniversary season schedule is expected to be announced in early August.
The Falcons will play each of their six Atlantic Division opponents (Hartford, Lowell, Manchester, Portland, Providence, and Worcester) 10 times each during the campaign â five at home, five away. Springfield will face every East Division team this season with half the games against each opponent at home and half on the road. The Falcons meet Albany for six contests and Norfolk for four games. The club will challenge other East Division opponents' Binghamton, Bridgeport, Hershey, Philadelphia, and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton twice each.
The AHL regular season will begin on Wednesday, October 8th and finish on Sunday, April 11th.
Falcons' home game times at the Springfield Civic Center this season will be 7:35 p.m. for Friday and Saturday contests, 7:05 p.m. for weekday games, and 4:05 p.m. for Sunday matches.
The Falcons are currently taking season ticket orders at the team's new office location at 155 State Street, across the street from the Civic Center. The Falcons' team store has also moved to the new location. The club's office and team store can be reached by phone at (413) 739-3344. Current hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays.
