Everblades' Johner and Lojek Head Back to Rochester

ESTERO, FL - Florida Everblades president & general manager Craig Brush, along with head coach Gerry Fleming announced today that forward Dustin Johner and defenseman Martin Lojek have been re-called to the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League.

Johner was re-assigned to the Everblades on Dec. 26 for Florida's game at Augusta where he did not register a point. Johner has now picked up eight points (3g, 5a) in six games with the Everblades this season. The 22-year-old heads back to Rochester where he has skated in four games, picking up no points.

Johner, who was acquired by the Florida Panthers in a trade with the Calgary Flames on December 2, has 12 points (5g, 7a) in 15 ECHL games with Florida and Las Vegas this year. The Sylvan Lake, Alberta native has also appeared in five games this season at the AHL level with the Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights.

In addition, Lojek makes his second trip to the AHL this season with the call-up. The 20-year-old skated in one game with the Americans earlier this season after getting promoted on November 13. The native of the Czech Republic has eight points (2g, 6a) in 17 games with the Everblades this season.

The Everblades return to action tonight when they take on the Pensacola Ice Pilots at 8:05 p.m. Eastern Time from the Pensacola Civic Center in Pensacola, FL. Everblades 2005-06 group tickets and individual game tickets are on sale now!
