Tonight, the SeaWolves are looking to extend their winning streak to five straight games as they begin a six-game homestand and a three-game series against the New Britain Rock Cats (Minnesota Twins) at Jerry Uht Park. The 'Wolves completed a three-game sweep of the Reading Phillies with a 9-4 win on Sunday evening at First Energy Stadium. The SeaWolves last won five in a row April 23-29 when the club was a season-high six straight...The 'Wolves lost two of three at New Britain last week. Erie was outscored 19-9 in the first two games before pulling out the series finale 7-4...The Rock Cats are 4-6 in their last 10 games and come into tonight's game with the league's worst record of 34-81...Erie and New Britain have split the season series in three of the last four seasons...Righty Thad Weber takes the mound for the SeaWOlves making his team-high 23rd start and second against the Rock Cats. Weber leads the EL with 144.1 innings pitched. He has worked at least five innings in every start this season. Weber has taken losses in back-to-back outings. In his last start against the Rock Cats, Weber allowed seven runs on 10 hits with two walks and five strikeouts...Righty Bobby Lanigan takes the mound for the Rock Cats. He picked up a win against Erie in his last start allowing three runs, two earned, in 5.2 innings.
