The San Francisco Giants have made the following transaction affecting the roster of Double-A Richmond prior to Tuesday's series-opener against New Hampshire:
INF Skyler Stromsmoe activated from the Disabled List (Heel) and transferred to Augusta (A) [24 + 5 DL]
The transaction keeps the Flying Squirrels at the Eastern League maximum of 24 active players. Five players (1B Andy D'Alessio, SS Brandon Crawford, OF Roger Kieschnick, C Nestor Rojas, RHP Michael Main) are currently on the Disabled List.
