Tonight, the SeaWolves look to snap a two-game slide as they continue a nine-game road trip, beginning a four-game series against the Harrisburg Senators (Washington Nationals) at FNB Field. The SeaWolves dropped the rubber game of the weekend series in Bowie on Sunday 4-1. The loss put the 'Wolves at 1-4 on the current road trip...The Senators won two of three to Akron over the weekend but have dropped eight of their past 12 games entering play tonight...Righty Christian Binford takes the mound for Erie making his sixth appearance, second start and first appearance against Harrisburg since joining the SeaWolves. Binford last appeared in relief on August 21 against
Akron, allowing a run on five hits with no walks and seven strikeouts in 4.1 innings. Binford made three appearances, two starts, against the Senators while pitching with Bowie this season going 1-0 with a pair of no-decisions...Righty Jaron Long takes the mound for the Senators making his 24th appearance, 19th start and second start against the SeaWolves. Long took a no-decision in his lone start against Erie on August 15 allowing three runs on seven hits in 5.1 innings. Long took a no-decision in his last appearance against Akron in relief on August 22. He tossed a scoreless frame allowing one hit with no walks and no strikeouts.
