Elmira Jackals Transaction Update

ELMIRA, N.Y. - December 1, 2012 - The Elmira Jackals announced today a number of transactions prior to the game in Trenton against the Titans.

Defenseman Jimmy Martin has been traded to the Utah Grizzlies in exchange for future considerations. Martin, a second-year pro, had one goal and was a +4 in 13 games with the Jackals.

Forward Dustin Gazley has been loaned to the Jackals by the Binghamton Senators of the American Hockey League. Gazley was recalled from his loan to Elmira by Binghamton yesterday but did not play in the B-Sens' win over Adirondack. The Jackals also placed Gazley on the reserve list upon his return from Binghamton.

Defenseman Chris Wideman has been reassigned by the National Hockey League's Ottawa Senators to Binghamton. Wideman was reassigned to Elmira from Binghamton yesterday and registered one assist in the Jackals' home game against Wheeling. He has five assists in five games with the Jackals this season and has also skated in six games with the B-Sens.

Defenseman Benjamin Dieude-Fauvel has been activated from the reserve list. The fourth-year pro from Bordeaux, France has logged three games with the Jackals so far this season.

Forward Darren Kramer was placed on the 21-day injured reserve. Kramer, a rookie, has three goals, two assists, and 31 penalty minutes in eight games with Elmira.
