Tonight's Matchup: The San Francisco Bulls will look to even the weekend set against the Utah Grizzlies, tonight at the Maverik Center. Last night, the Grizzlies defeated the Bulls, 7-4. The loss ended the Bulls' five game point streak (4-0-1-0)

Last night, the Bulls took a 3-1 lead after one period of play, but the Grizzlies struck three times in the second period for a 4-3 edge through 40 minutes. In the third period, the Bulls could not find the equalizer and Colin Vock scored twice for a three-goal performance.

Justin Bowers earned a goal and an assist in the loss, extending his point streak to nine games (2 goals, 10 assists). Sacha Guimond pitched in with three power-play assists, giving him 11 points (2 goals, 9 assists) during a six-game point streak. Peter Sivak recorded an assist, giving him points in eight straight games. The power play continued to click, giving the team 11 man-advantage goals over the past five games.

The Utah win was just their second over the past 11 games (2-7-1-1). The Grizzlies jumped ahead of the Las Vegas Wranglers, who lost in a shootout last night to the Orlando Solar Bears. Vock (3 goals), Mitch Wahl (3 assists), Brad Mills (2 goals, 2 assists), Gaelan Patterson (2 assists) and Mark Isherwood (1 goal, 2 assists) all had multi-point efforts last night.
