
ECHL Announces Fines, Suspensions

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL on Saturday announced the following fines and suspensions.
Evansville's McKenzie suspended
Evansville's Jim McKenzie has been suspended for one game as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #212, Evansville at Cincinnati, on Nov. 30.
McKenzie was assessed a minor penalty for instigating at 19:52 of the third period and is suspended under Rule #46.21 as a result of receiving an instigating penalty in the final five minutes of regulation or in overtime.
McKenzie will miss Evansville's game vs. Kalamazoo tonight (Dec. 1).
Fort Wayne's Schrock suspended
Fort Wayne's Kaleigh Schrock has been suspended for one game as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #213, Fort Wayne at Gwinnett, on Nov. 30.
Schrock was assessed a minor penalty for instigating at 19:24 of the third period and is suspended under Rule #46.21 as a result of receiving an instigating penalty in the final five minutes of regulation or in overtime.
Schrock will miss Fort Wayne's game at Orlando on Dec. 7.
Ontario's Burt fined, suspended
Ontario's Cameron Burt has been suspended pending a review and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #219, Stockton at Ontario, on Nov. 30.
Burt was assessed a major penalty and game misconduct under Rule #56.5 - Interference at 1:35 of the second period. He is fined and suspended under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.
Burt will miss Ontario's game vs. Alaska tonight (Dec. 1) and will have a hearing with ECHL Hockey Operations next week.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
Greenville's McArdle fined
Greenville's Kenndal McArdle has been fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #215, Greenville at Florida, on Nov. 30.
McArdle was assessed a major penalty and game misconduct under Rule #62.5 - Spearing at 18:09 of the second period. He is fined under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
Orlando's Liambas fined
Orlando's Mike Liambas has been fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #218, Orlando at Las Vegas, on Nov. 30.
Liambas was assessed a game misconduct under Rule #46.2 - Aggressor at 15:15 of the second period. He is fined under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
