
Eight-Game Homestand Begins Friday; Numerous Promotions on Tap

WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The 2011 Division Champion Sacramento River Cats have continued their winning ways, sporting a 30-17 record, having won or split each of their four-game series thus far. An eight-game homestand begins on Friday, May 25 when Manny Ramirez plays his first game at Raley Field as a member of the River Cats. Fans will enjoy exciting promotions including Wine in the Park, Showdown Hoedown, Run, Bike, Swim Night, Military Appreciation Day and a Disco Dance Party, as well as Saturday Sutter Health Fireworks. The River Cats will host the Reno Aces (Triple-A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks) May 25-28 and the Fresno Grizzlies (Triple-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants) May 29-June1.
Manny Mania - Friday, May 25 - Monday, May 28
Baseball icon Manny Ramirez is bringing his 555 career home runs and two World Series Championships to the River Cats! To mark his arrival, the River Cats are offering a special deal for fans who purchase tickets for the Sunday, May 27 or Monday, May 28 home games at Raley Field. For each ticket purchased in the Senate, Governor's Club or Raley's Diamond Club sections, fans will be given one ticket in the same section to the June 20 (12:05 p.m.) or June 27 (7:05 p.m.) home games.

Sounds of Summer Ticket Package - Friday, May 25 - Sunday, May 27
A Sounds of Summer ticket package is available May 25-27 for just $45. The package includes a one-day pass for the Sacramento Music Festival and a Gold level ticket to a River Cats game. This package is only available for purchase through Ticketmaster or at Raley Field's Round Table Pizza Ticket Office. For fans planning to purchase a weekend one day pass to the Music Festival, this ticket package is like getting the River Cats game as a free bonus.
Wine in the Park - Friday, May 25
For only $25 fans can taste some of the regions great wines from the likes of Bogle, Michael David, Hess and The Crusher wineries. Purchasers get early entry into Raley Field at 5:30 p.m., with the event concluding shortly after the first pitch, which is at 7:05 p.m.
Showdown Hoedown Block party - Saturday, May 26 at 4:00 p.m.
Starting at 4 p.m., enjoy a free pregame block party on Ballpark Drive, complete with live country music and dancing. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
Fans can also enjoy Sutter Health Postgame Fireworks!
Run, Bike, Swim Night presented by California Family Fitness-Sunday, May 27 at 6:05 p.m.
The River Cats honor the great endurance athletes in the Sacramento Region. The first 2,500 fans in the ballpark will receive a collapsible water bottle. In addition, as part of U.S. Bank Sunday Funday, fans can participate in a pregame autograph session and kids get to run the bases after the game.
Military Appreciation Day presented by U.S. Army - Monday. May 28 at 1:05 p.m.
Players will wear special camouflage uniforms as the River Cats honor the military members. Active or retired military members can save up to $11 off the day-of-game ticket price by showing proper military identification at Raley Field's Round Table Pizza Ticket Office.
Plus, fans age 60+ can get a free hot dog meal as part of Seniors Eat Free Mondays presented by Cache Creek Casino Resort with a free Silver Cats Club membership. Also, Baseball Bingo will be played.
Disco Dance Party - Friday, June 1 at 7:05 p.m.
Grab your go-go boots and enjoy a "Disco Inferno" at Raley Field. Following the game, a postgame dance party will take place in the Jack Daniel's Solon Club. Rally mohawks will also be by provided for free by Supercuts along the concourse.
Friday is also a Toyota Family Value Night with $1 hot hogs and $1 desserts for the family compliments of Toyota. Players will also be signing autographs near the On Deck Shop between 6:15 and 6:45 p.m.
The homestand will also include the following recurring promotions: Kids Eat Free Tuesdays presented by California Family Fitness, a Wednesday Nine Innings @ Noon Business Person's Special presented by yp.com, and Miller Lite Thirsty Thursday with $2 Miller and Miller Lite beers throughout the ballpark and music in the Jackson Rancheria Home Run Terrace.
