RENO, Nev.-Ryan Wheeler went 4-for-4 at the plate for Reno, but the New Orleans Zephyrs edged the Aces, 4-2, Wednesday night at Aces Ballpark.

Arizona Diamondbacks top prospect Trevor Bauer took a no decision in his second-career Triple-A start, allowing just a run on one hit with five walks and five strikeouts in five innings of work. He exited with a 2-1 lead, but the Zephyrs rallied for two runs in the seventh inning and added an insurance run in the ninth to pick-up the victory.

Beau Jones (2-1), the second of four New Orleans relievers on the night, earned the win after working a scoreless sixth. Starter Alex Sanabia allowed just a run on one hit over three innings of work. Sandy Rosario held Reno scoreless over the final 1.2 frames to earn the save.

The loss fell to Reno's Mike DeMark (3-3), who surrendered the tying and go-ahead runs in the seventh.

At the plate for Reno, Wheeler delivered his first four-hit effort of the season, including a pair of doubles. Jake Elmore-the Pacific Coast League's on-base percentage leader-singled and drew two walks. The Aces finished 1-for-14 with runners in scoring position and stranded 13 base runners.

The series comes to a close Thursday night at Aces Ballpark. RHP Joe Martinez (1-3, 6.08 ERA) gets the nod for Reno, while the Zephyrs will counter with LHP Brad Hand (3-2, 3.26 ERA). First pitch is set for 6:35 p.m. PT, and it'll be another Coors Light Thirsty Thursday(tm) presented by ESPN Radio 94.5 FM and Reno News & Review.
