Tonight's Game-- The RedHawks and Sky Sox will play a doubleheader after yesterday's game was rained out. In their only other doubleheader this season, the RedHawks swept both games in Nashville on April 19.

Last Game-- The RedHawks hit three home runs and the bullpen allowed just one run over four innings to lead the way to a 9-5 win over the Sky Sox Tuesday night. The Sky Sox scored a pair of two-out runs in the first to take an early 2-0 lead, but it didn't last long. With two on and none out, Brett Wallace hit a homer to center field to put the RedHawks in front, 3-2. Jimmy Paredes led off the third inning with a solo homer to extend the lead to two runs. Fernando Martinez followed with a double, and two batters later, Scott Moore flied out to the wall in center field. Martinez scored all the way from second base on the play to make it 5-2. Colorado Springs scored twice more with two outs in the third, and the game stayed 5-4 until the seventh. Leading 6-5 in the ninth, Brad Snyder put the game away with a three-run homer. Paul Clemens (5-3) earned his third straight win after allowing four runs and eight hits over five-plus innings. Edgar Gonzalez (2-2) lasted just four innings and took the loss for the Sky Sox.

Tonight's Probable Pitchers-- Jordan Lyles will make the start in Game 1 in his first action since being optioned from Houston...In six starts with the RedHawks, Lyles is 5-0 and has turned in three quality starts...His last start with OKC was May 10 against Las Vegas...He tossed 6.2 scoreless innings with six strikeouts to lead the way to a 1-0 win that snapped a seven-game losing streak...He has made three starts for Houston, going 0-1 with a 5.29...However, subtract one bad inning he had against Texas in his last start and his ERA drops to 2.81...Lyles will be immediately followed by Aneury Rodriguez, who looks for his first win since his first start of the season...Rodriguez turned in one of his better starts Friday in Reno, allowing two runs and five hits over 5.2 innings...he had the unenviable task of facing Trevor Bauer and took the loss as the RedHawks fell 2-1...Rodriguez has struggled with his pitch counts this season, going past five innings just twice and exiting after less than five innings four times...Coming into tonight, Rodriguez is averaging 19.5 pitches per inning...Despite the high pitch counts, he has not allowed many runs on the road, posting a 2.04 ERA in three starts away from OKC...Dallas Keuchel will start Game 2 for the RedHawks...Last time out, Keuchel surrendered 12 runs and 13 hits in four innings in Reno Saturday...he allowed one run in the first, four in the second and third, and three in the fourth...Coming into that start, Keuchel had allowed 14 runs for the entire season, spanning eight starts and 56 innings...It marked the first time he did not pitch at least six innings and just the second time he did not toss a quality start...Keuchel leads the PCL in innings (60.0) and owns the second-lowest walk rate among starting pitchers (1.50 per 9 inn.).

Homer Happy-- For the fourth time in their last seven games, the RedHawks went deep at least three times. They have hit 31 homers in their last 17 games and are first the PCL with 53 home runs. Earlier in the road trip, they hit 12 dingers during their four-game set in Reno, by far their most in a series this season. (Previous high was seven.) The RedHawks hit 19 homers in 25 games in April. Their 34 homers this month (20 games) is seven more than anyone else in the PCL.

Hot Bats-- Over their last 10 games, the RedHawks have scored 73 runs with 124 hits, including 22 homers. Not surprisingly, they've gone 8-2 during this stretch.

Hail Hessman-- Over his last nine games, Mike Hessman is hitting .433 (13-for-30) with six homers, three doubles, and 14 RBIs. On Monday he was named PCL Player of the Week (May 14-20). In 17 games in May, Hessman is hitting .389 with eight homers and 16 RBIs. He is the active leader in career minor league home runs, and his 339 blasts are almost 100 more than Val Pascucci of Buffalo, who is second on the list with 242. Combined with his homers from the Majors and Japan, Hessman has a total of 359 career home runs since beginning his professional career in 1996.

Plenty of Paredes-- On Tuesday Jimmy Paredes collected his ninth multi-hit effort over his last 10 games. During this stretch he has gone 23-for-46 (.500) with two home run and six RBIs. Since May 12, he has four more hits than anyone else in the Minors. He leads the team with 55 hits, 23 runs scored, as well as 14 stolen bases.

Wallace Warming Up-- Brett Wallace has hit safely in each of his last six games, matching his season-best hit streak. He has hit three homers in his last four games, all out to center field. Since his average bottomed out to .218 on May 9, Wallace has hit .378 (17-for-45).

Road Trip Challenge-- Halfway through a 12-game road trip through hitter-friendly Reno, Colorado Springs, and Albuquerque, the RedHawks pitching staff has posted a 7.44 ERA. The starters are 2-2 with a 9.31 ERA (30 ER/29 IP) and the relievers are 2-0 with two saves and a 5.09 ERA (13 ER/23 IP).

Surprising SB Success-- Although the RedHawks have led the PCL in throwing out opposing base stealers all season, opponents have pulled off six straight successful swipes over the last three games.

Against the Sky Sox-- Until last night, the RedHawks had not homered in eight straight games against the Sky Sox...Last season these teams split a four-game series at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark...Each of the last two games were settled in extra innings by one run...In their previous trip to the Springs in 2010, the RedHawks dropped three of four, including the last three straight by one run with two walk-off losses.
