ECHL Fantasy Team Announced

KALAMAZOO- The fans have spoken and Eric Kattelus will represent the Kalamazoo Wings on the ECHL Fantasy Team, while Joel Martin was named to the Golden Goalie program.

Since early February, fans had the opportunity to vote on ECHL.com for one player on each ECHL member team's ballot to help select the 2014-15 Fantasy Team. The winning player will wear a special ECHL Fantasy Team jersey at an upcoming home game.

A goaltender for each team will also participate in the MeiGray Golden Goalie Program. The starting goaltender for each team on the preselected date will wear a special jersey.

Both the Fantasy Team skater and the Golden Goalie will wear a specially-designed jersey on the designated date. The K-Wings will wear their jerseys on March 20th.

Each of the Fantasy Team skater and MeiGray goaltender jerseys will be available for bid through The MeiGray Group. Jerseys will be available for bid starting on Tuesday, March 17 The schedule of teams, as well as the winning skater and the participating goaltender, is listed below. In the event that the winner for a team is unable to play in the preselected game, the second-place vote-getter from that team will wear the special jersey.

Kalamazoo begins the week tonight with a 7:05 p.m. encounter at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum against the Indy Fuel.

The K-Wings will return home this Friday, February 27th, with a 7:30 p.m. face-off versus the Toledo Walleye during Michigan Blood Night. This Friday will also be a 3, 2, 1 Countdown to Fun! with $3 beer, $2 Pepsi Products and $1 hot dogs presented by Winter Sausage hot dogs and Harding's Friendly Markets.

Kalamazoo will finish the week with road games on Saturday and Sunday against Toledo at the Huntington Center.

Tickets for all K-Wings home games are currently on sale at Wings Stadium Ticket Office, all Ticketmaster locations, including www.ticketmaster.com or by calling (800) 745-3000.

Fans that plan on attending multiple games can avoid service fees plus enjoy a discount from the single-game price by purchasing a 12, 24 or 36-game flexi-plan. These plans along with group ticket packages (15 or more people) may be ordered through the K-Wings front office by calling (269) 743-6011.
