Defenseman Sergeev Returns from AHL Syracuse

ESTERO, FL - The Florida Everblades announced today that the Tampa Bay Lightning have reassigned defenseman Artem Sergeev to the Everblades from the Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey League.
Sergeev, 21, returns to the Everblades after scoring a goal with seven penalty minutes in five appearances during his recent call up with Syracuse. The 6-2, 203-pound blueliner has totaled 18 points (6g, 12a) in 32 games played with the Everblades this season.
Last season, Sergeev posted 10 points (3g, 7a) in 68 appearances with Syracuse.
The Moscow, Russia native totaled 86 career points in three seasons with the Val d'Or Foruers of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League from 2010-2013.
The Everblades battle the Gwinnett Gladiators tonight at Germain Arena beginning at 7:30 p.m. Fans can enjoy $2 drafts, $2 wines, $2 hot dogs all night long in the concourse! It's also College Night! College Students can purchase $5 tickets w/ free parking with college I.D.

This Friday and Saturday is Pink In the Rink Weekend, presented by Radiology Regional. The Everblades will wear specially designed pink jerseys for breast cancer awareness. The jerseys will be auctioned off following Saturday's game with the proceeds benefiting local cancer charities. Fans are encouraged to wear pink this weekend.
