ESTERO, Fla. - The Gladiators (16-32-3-1) kick off their southern stretch of their eight-game road trip tonight as they take on the Florida Everblades (32-11-2-4) for the sixth and final time at Germain Arena in 2014-15. The Gladiators have won the last three games against the Everblades - a 7-2 win in Estero on January 17th, a 7-5 win at home on January 23rd which saw Greg Carey notch his second hat trick of the season, and a 4-3 overtime thriller the next night with Casey Pierro-Zabotel achieving his first career hat trick.

Glads Notes:

In Command: When leading after one period, the Gladiators are 11-5-2. When leading after two, they are even more solid - 13-2-1. And when the team scores first to set the tone, they are 12-8-2.

Follow the Leader: Casey Pierro-Zabotel currently leads the Eastern Conference in scoring with 57 points in 50 games played. He is fifth among all ECHL skaters in points, behind Allen's Chad Costello (85pts), Alaska's Brendan Connolly (59pts), Utah's Michael Pelech and Tulsa's Drew Fisher (both at 58).

Gladiators Ahoy: Three players currently on the Gladiators roster have been assigned from their AHL affiliate, the Portland Pirates- James Melindy, Dan O'Donoghue, and Dyson Stevenson - and eight more - Joel Hanley (POR), Louis Domingue (POR), Mike Lee (POR), Jordon Southorn (POR) Greg Carey (POR), Bretton Stamler (HFD), Casey Pierro-Zabotel (NOR), and Joe Stejskal (IAW) - have spent time in the AHL this year.

Milestones: Sean Berkstresser is one point away from his 200th professional point ... Casey Pierro-Zabotel achieved his 200th ECHL assist last Saturday and is five goals from his 100th pro goal ... Geoff Paukovich is one goal away from his 50th as a pro ... C.J. Chartrain will played in his 100th pro game on Sunday ... Art Bidlevskii played in his 100th ECHL contest on Saturday.

Streaks: Casey Pierro-Zabotel has had points in 12 of his last 17 games (9g, 11a) ... Garry Nunn has five goals and five assists in his last 12 games ... Brenden Walker has four goals and eight assists in his last 14 games.
