ECHL Fantasy Team & Golden Goalie Announced

TOLEDO, OH- The vote is in and Cody Lampl and Jeff Lerg will represent the Toledo Walleye on the ECHL Fantasy Team and Golden Goalie Program, presented by The MeiGray Group.

Fans had the opportunity to vote on ECHL.com for one player on each ECHL member team's ballot to help select the 2014-15 Fantasy Team. The winning player will wear a special ECHL Fantasy Team jersey at an upcoming home game.

A goaltender for each team will also participate in the MeiGray Golden Goalie Program. The starting goaltender for each team on the preselected date will wear a special jersey.

Both the Fantasy Team skater and the Golden Goalie will wear a specially-designed jersey on the designated date. Dates are subject to change based on player availability.

Both Lampl and Lerg are slated to wear the specialty jersey at the Saturday, March 14 game against Indy Fuel.

Each of the Fantasy Team skater and MeigGray goaltender jerseys will be available for bid through The MeiGray Group. Jerseys will be available for bid starting on Tuesday, March 17.

The Toledo Walleye face-off against the Kalamazoo Wings three consecutive nights this weekend. On Friday the team plays on K-Wings' ice-- puck drop at 7:30-- before heading home for Pink in the Rink.
