Americans Trade for Tarasuk

Allen Americans News Release
Moline, Illinois - The Allen Americans announced today that the club has acquired defenseman Steven Tarasuk, from Brampton in exchange for forward Brett Lyon.
Tarasuk was a part of the Allen Americans Central Hockey League championship team last season. The native of Thornhill, Ontario, played for both the Missouri Mavericks and Brampton Beast this season, putting up 10 points in 37 total games.
"Steven Tarasuk adds depth and can play in our transition game," said Allen Americans General Manager and Head Coach Steve Martinson. Tarasuk is expected to be in the lineup on Saturday against his former team.
The Americans are on the road in Moline, Illinois, tonight for a quick one-game trip to play the Quad City Mallards. The Americans return home Saturday to host Brampton at 7:05 pm.
