Boron Selected to Participate in Golden Goalie Program

Wichita, KS (Feb. 25th) - The ECHL announced this afternoon the goaltenders who will be participating in the 2014-15 Golden Goalie Program, presented by the MeiGray Group, which includes Thunder goaltender Tim Boron.

Fans had the opportunity to vote on the ECHL website for one player on each member team's ballot for the Golden Goalie Program and the Fantasy Team. Boron will wear a special jersey on March 20th. His jersey will then be available for bid through the MeiGray Group. To read about the full list of players and when they will be wearing these special uniforms, click HERE .

The MeiGray Group is the leading distributor of game-worn hockey jerseys and has sold more than 7,000 ECHL game-worn jerseys since 2002-03. The MeiGray Group, which has sold more than 50,000 game-worn jerseys since its inception in 1997, partners with USA Hockey and directs the NHL-MeiGray Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program. MeiGray Group also partners with the National Basketball Association.

Wichita has a few days off and will get back after it this Friday with the Brampton Beast coming to town for the first time this season.
