Meet Oilers President of Hockey Operations Kevin Lowe - 5:30 p.m.
Doors will open early for all fans tonight, at 5:30 p.m. Kevin Lowe will address the fans on the pending move to the American Hockey League for next season, what it means for the fans, and how Bakersfield will play a prominent role in the development of the Oilers organization. Fans may sit in sections 111 and 112 to hear him speak.
AHL Franchise name to be announced TONIGHT
When the buzzer sounds for the end of the first period, don't rush out of your seats to get more dollar hot dogs just yet. Immediately after the period ends, the name of Bakersfield's new American Hockey League franchise will be announced.
TONIGHT
The Bakersfield Condors and Idaho Steelheads open up a three-game series tonight at Rabobank Arena. The same two teams will battle Friday and Saturday in Condorstown as well. Bakersfield will travel to Idaho to wrap up the season series the second week of March. The Condors are looking for their first win on home ice against the Steelheads, but are 1-2-1-2 overall in the season series.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT
G Maxime Lagace made 28 saves and four different players lit the lamp as the Condors pounded the division-leading Colorado Eagles 4-0 Saturday night. Team captain LW Jordan Kremyr scored on a shorthanded breakaway 20 seconds into the third period to take a 1-0 game and give the Condors the cushion they needed. It was the second straight win for the Condors and their fourth in the last five games.
The Steelheads come into town winners of three straight after sweeping a three-game set in Stockton against the Thunder. Idaho won the opener 1-0, but rolled up 6-3 and 5-2 wins to round out the series.

F Andrew Radjenovic made his pro debut on Saturday and scored a goal... F Nick Zappia, a rookie out of Cortland (N.Y.) State University, will make his professional debut tonight... C Josh Currie and F Sebastien Sylvestre both bring five-game scoring streaks into tonight's contest. That mark matches a season high... D C.J. Ludwig returns from injury to the lineup tonight after missing the last four games... Bakersfield opens a stretch of 17 days tonight in which they will play 10 games.
