Eagles Recall Defensemen Davis, Anderson from Grizzlies

WINDSOR, CO. - The Colorado Eagles, proud affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche, have announced that the team has recalled defensemen Kevin Davis and Josh Anderson from the ECHL's Utah Grizzlies. Davis joins the Eagles after posting one goal, 15 assists and registering a +12 in 19 games with Utah. Anderson, a third-round pick of Colorado in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft, has notched one point and 19 penalty minutes in 17 contests with Utah.

Davis recently concluded a five-year career with the Everett Silvertips of the WHL, including a 2017-18 season that saw the 21 year-old post new career-highs in goals (10), assists (55) and points (65), while also serving as team captain. The Kamloops, British Columbia native amassed 26 goals and 149 assists in 347 contests with the Silvertips, while also playing at a combined +42 during that time.

Anderson also enjoyed a five-year stint in the WHL, registering 35 points and 289 PIM's in 206 games with the Prince George Cougars and Swift Current Broncos. The 6-foot-2, 225-pound blueliner helped lead the Broncos to the 2018 Western Hockey League Championship and a trip to the Memorial Cup.
