Domenic Alberga Heads Back to AHL Tucson

NORFOLK, VA - The Norfolk Admirals, ECHL affiliate of the Arizona Coyotes, have announced Saturday that forward Domenic Alberga has been loaned to Tucson Roadrunners of the American Hockey League (AHL).
Alberga, 26, returns to Tucson where he has appeared in three games this season Alberga earns the call-up after leading the Admirals in points (18) and goals (7) this season. Alberga opened the year with Tucson after earning a roster spot with the Roadrunners following an impressive training camp. Alberga recorded 37 points (15g, 22a) with the Admirals last season.
The 6-1, 209-pound center has accrued 111 points (46g, 65a) in 212 career ECHL games from 2015-18 in stints with the Admirals, Wichita Thunder, Fort Wayne Komets, and Greenville Swamp Rabbits. Alberga was a standout player during his two seasons at Ryerson University from 2013-15 collecting 75 points. The Maple, Ontario native totaled 86 career points (35g, 51a) in 259 games in four seasons in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) from 2009-2013.
The Admirals continue their three-game road set tonight at Orlando. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m.. Fans catch the game broadcast on Mixlr or watch the game on ECHL.TV
