Saturdays Are For The Mavs: The Mavericks come into tonight's game with a perfect 5-0 record on Saturday's so far this season, two of those contests coming on home ice - a 7-2 win over Indy to close out the club's October schedule and an overtime thriller against the Utah Grizzlies on Nov. 3.
Wrong Side of History: Last night's game was the 90th all-time meeting between the Mavericks and Oilers, and it was the first time ever that Tulsa was able to keep Kansas City scoreless. The Mavericks had been shut out once previously this season, a 4-0 loss at Wichita two weeks ago, but the club bounced back with a shootout win the next night.
Halford Strong In Loss: Ben Halford was nearly perfect on the night on Friday, stopping 31 of 32 pucks in the contest. The lone shot that beat him was a Steven Kaunisto slap shot from the blue line that made its way through traffic in front, hit off the goal post and ricocheted into the back of the net. Halford's .969 save percentage was the best in any game for the Mavericks so far this season.
Short On Shorties: The Mavericks are the only team remaining in the ECHL to have not conceded a shorthanded goal on the year. Paired with a dangerous power play at home, the league's best at 29.3-percent, that could create a game-changing combination in tonight's game.
What To Watch For: Mavericks power play vs. Tulsa penalty kill. The Oilers have stifled the Mavs on the man-advantage, limiting Kansas City to 1-for-14 through three games on the season. The Mavericks, who enter tonight's game with a 7-2 mark on the season when scoring on the power play, were held scoreless on three chances in last night's game.
Tonight's Promotions

Teddy Bear Package: Bundle a teddy bear with your ticket purchase to tonight's game, and don't forget to throw the bear on the ice when the Mavericks light the lamp for the first time!
