
Thunder Looks to Snap Road Skid Tonight in Allen

Allen, TX - The Wichita Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Edmonton Oilers, AHL's Bakersfield Condors and powered by Toyota, finish a two-game set tonight in Texas against the Allen Americans.
Allen claimed a 4-1 win last night. The game was tied heading into the third period when the Americans scored three times to skate away with the victory. With the loss, Wichita leads Allen by four points for fifth place in the Mountain Division.
Wichita is looking to stop a seven-game road losing streak tonight. The Thunder's last road win came on October 20th in Allen against the Americans in a 4-1 victory. Allen won its first home game of the season last night and also snapped a four-game winless streak.
Allen is led by Spencer Asuchak, who has 18 points (7g, 11a). Braylon Shmyr and Alex Breton each have 16 points. Steven Iacobellis leads the Thunder with 18 points (6g, 12a).
Wichita closes its three-game road swing on Tuesday night at Tulsa. The Thunder returns home for three-straight against Rapid City starting Friday, December 7th.
