
Ducks rally to beat Wolves

CINCINNATI, Ohio -- Tony Martensson and Joel Stepp scored 27 seconds apart in the third period, as the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks came from behind to defeat the Chicago Wolves, 5-3, Friday at Cincinnati Gardens.
Martensson's goal 11:40 into the final period tied the score at 3-3 and Stepp netted the eventual game-winner at 12:07 for the Ducks, who rallied from 2-0 and 3-1 deficits to win their second straight game and extend their unbeaten streak to three (2-0-1-0).
Mike Mottau had two goals and Joel Perrault recorded three assists for Cincinnati, who won for the first time in their last four tries against Chicago.
Ilya Bryzgalov turned aside 20 shots in the victory.
Mike Weaver, Steve Maltais and Shawn Heins scored for Chicago, which is winless in its last four games (0-3-1-0).
Frederic Cassivi had 30 saves to suffer the loss.
The Ducks play Cleveland in the sixth game of the Labatt Blue Cup at 7:35 p.m. Saturday at Cincinnati Gardens. The first 2,500 fans receive a Mighty Ducks of Anaheim cap.
