
Bulldogs Win in Front of Record Setting Regular Season Crowd

HAMILTON, ON â The Hamilton Bulldogs extended their home-unbeaten streak to six games as they defeated the St. John's Maple Leafs 4-2 in front of a Bulldogs record regular season crowd of 15,119.
Hamilton's record now improves to 37 wins, 22 losses, 10 ties and 4 overtime losses. The Bulldogs continue to lead the AHL's North Division with 88 points.
Scoring for the Bulldogs on Friday were Alexander Perezhogin (2), Benjamin Carpentier and Tomas Plekanec.
St. John's goals came from Harold Druken and Ben Ondrus.
In goal, Bulldogs goaltender Jean-Francois Damphousse made 25 saves and picked up his 17th win of the season. Jean-Francois Racine took the loss for the Maple Leafs and stopped 32 shots on the night.
The Bulldogs finished their 12 game season series with the Maple Leafs with a record of ten wins and two losses.
The Hamilton Bulldogs next action will take place on Saturday, March 27th at 4:00 p.m., as the Bulldogs will travel to Toronto to face the Roadrunners. Bulldogs fans can listen to Derek Wills and Al Craig call all the action on 820 CHAM and on-line at www.hamiltonbulldogs.com
