Pandolfo Recalled By Columbus

Syracuse, NY (March 26, 2004) – The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Columbus Blue Jackets have recalled left wing Mike Pandolfo.

Pandolfo, 24, has appeared in all 69 Crunch games this season, recording 16 goals, 18 assists and 29 penalty minutes. A native of Winchester, Massachusetts, Pandolfo has appeared in 143 career AHL games, all with Syracuse, posting 25 goals, 27 assists and 60 penalty minutes. Pandolfo was acquired by Columbus along with the 30th overall pick in the 2002 Entry Draft from Buffalo in exchange for the 20th pick in the 2002 draft. Pandolfo is expected to make his NHL debut tonight when Columbus hosts the Mighty Duck of Anaheim.

Syracuse hosts the Binghamton Senators tonight for Empire Vision Centers Poster Night. The Crunch hosts St. John's on Saturday, March 27 for Bob Evans Team Photo Night.
