LOOKING AHEAD:

Tied for first in the East Division each with 10 games remaining, Bridgeport and Philadelphia tangle on Friday night (7:05 ET) in their seventh of eight meetings this season. Forward Rob Collins has scored half of his eight goals on the year against the Phantoms, helping the Sound Tigers to a 3-2-1 edge in the season series. The Phantoms rank third in the AHL in home power play efficiency (19.1%), while Bridgeport's penalty kill has a remarkable success rate of 90.4 percent on the road. After making his NHL debut against the Flyers on Thursday, standout rookie Wade Dubielewicz is expected to head next door to the Wachovia Spectrum and rejoin his Bridgeport teammates.

Rochester heads to Winnipeg Arena for a two-game set Friday (7:30 CT, 8:30 ET) and Sunday (2:00/3:00), with time running out on the Moose. Seven points out of a playoff spot with just six games left, Manitoba closed out a long road trip with wins in four of five games to keep hope alive. Brandon Reid has recorded nine points (2g, 7a) in his last four outings, and Alex Auld is 5-2-2 with three shutouts in his last nine decisions on home ice. Domenic Pittis has put up 25 points in his last 18 games for the Amerks, who come into play in a three-way tie for third in the North Division, but Rochester's nine road wins this season are third-fewest in the entire AHL.

A three-game weekend at home gives Worcester a chance to control its fate in the Atlantic Division. The IceCats have won four in a row overall and five straight at the Centrum Centre heading into meetings with Hartford (Friday, 7:05 ET), Portland (Saturday, 7:05 ET) and Providence (Sunday, 4:05 ET). Mike Glumac, Worcester's leader in goals and points this season, is riding a nine-game scoring streak (7g, 6a) and trails Manchester's Noah Clarke by two points for the AHL rookie scoring lead. The third-place 'Cats are a point up on the Bruins and five back of the Monarchs entering the weekend.
