Disaster Relief, Captain America Highlights Busy Weekend

Wichita, KS - The Wichita Thunder, proud member of the ECHL and powered by Toyota, begins a jammed-packed weekend starting tonight against the Allen Americans at 7:05 p.m.

Friday night is Disaster Relief Night, presented by Waste Connections. Help us raise

money, which will benefit the American Red Cross. Bring cash and drop it in the bucket during first intermission.

The American Red Cross is hosting a blood drive tomorrow morning at 9 a.m. inside Entrance A and B. The first 200 fans that donate blood will receive a free ticket to the game that night.

Before the Thunder play at INTRUST Bank Arena, the Wichita Junior Thunder will host the Oklahoma City Junior Blazers at 3:45 p.m. with the doors opening at 3:30 p.m. Your ticket to the game will also get you into the Thunder game later that night. Former Blazer and Oiler defenseman Tyler Fleck leads his team into the Air Capital.

Saturday night is Thunderdog's birthday bash, presented by Sonic America's Drive-In. All of Thunderdog's mascot friends will be in attendance along with a special appearance from Captain America.

Wichita returns home for two-straight against the Americans and then will follow that up with a Sunday matinee at the Allen Events Center starting at 4:05 p.m.
