ELMIRA, NY - The Elmira Jackals, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Buffalo Sabres and the AHL's Rochester Americans, will look to build on their momentum from Monday's shootout win as they venture down to Norfolk for a two-game set with the Admirals.

MAGNIFYING THE MATCHUP
The Jackals begin a three-game road trip with two meetings with the Norfolk Admirals at the Scope.The Jackals are 3-2-0-0 in five meetings this year. The Admirals won the most recent matchup at First Arena, 4-1 on Jan. 14, thanks to 25 saves by Ty Rimmer, and a three-point night for Greg Chase. Elmira won each of the two previous meetings in Elmira, 4-3, on Dec. 9, and 4-0, on Dec 12, thanks to 97 saves by Niklas Lundstrom, including his first career shutout. These wins followed a split of the first two games of the year as the Jackals won the only meeting at the Scope on Nov. 10, 4-3. Three nights later, the Admirals won 4-1 at First Arena, as Nic Riopel and Ty Rimmer stopped 36 of 37 shots they faced. Mike Seidel has three goals and three assists in five games against Norfolk this season, while Kevin Clare has three goals and Chris Langkow has five assists.
