
Denny To ECHL All-Star TV Broadcast Team

Ontario, California - The ECHL announced today that Utah Grizzlies broadcaster Adrian Denny will be part of the television broadcast team at the 2009 ECHL All-Star Game presented by Guardian Wear in Reading, Pennsylvania January 21.
Denny will serve as the rinkside reporter for the telecast joining veteran NHL analyst Neil Smith and Alaska Aces broadcaster Jack Michaels who will handle the play-by-play.
Television broadcast details are being finalized and will be announced as soon as they are available.
The Utah native is in his fourth year as the Grizzlies Director of Broadcasting/Play-By-Play Broadcaster and is in his sixth season as a member of the Grizzlies broadcast team. In addition, he served as an anchor/reporter/producer at Salt Lake radio station 1320 AM KFAN from 2002-2005. He also provided radio play-by-play/color analysis for the Salt Lake Bees AAA baseball team from 2005-2007 during televised games and co-hosted the team's radio show "Bees Clubhouse" on KFAN.
In addition to the team's broadcasting department, the 26-year-old oversees the Grizzlies marketing/advertising efforts, media relations, community relations and website. Denny is a University of Utah graduate.
The Utah Grizzlies, of the ECHL, celebrate their 15th anniversary season in 2008-2009. Owned and operated by the Elmore Sports Group, the Grizzlies enter their second season and sixth overall as an affiliate of the New York Islanders. South Jordan resident and former Islander Kevin Colley enters his first season as the Grizzlies Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations after serving as Jason Christie's Assistant Coach in 2007-2008 as the team advanced to the National Conference Finals. The Grizzlies play all home games at the E-Center of West Valley City, which hosted hockey during the 2002 Winter Olympics.
