Bombers Fall 3-2 at Trenton

TRENTON, N.J. -- The Dayton Bombers saw Trenton break at 2-2 tie midway through the third period to fall 3-2 to the Devils in New Jersey.

After a scoreless first period, Trenton got the first two goals of the game by Jeremy Akeson (at 4:26 of the second) and Matt Radoslovich (at 15:27) to go up 2-0. But the Bombers scored a power play goal on a deflection by Dan Riedel, his sixteenth of the year, at 16:58 of the second (assists to Dominic D'Amour and Brock Wilson.) It was 2-1 after two.

The Bombers tied the game 2-2 at 4:54 of the third on Brock Wilson's fourth goal of the year, assisted by Mike McLean and Jim Henkemeyer in his first game back from injury. Radoslovich, however, got his second goal of the night at the 10:38 mark for the winning margin.

Dayton goalie Paul Drew was 29 of 32 while the Devil's Gerald Coleman stopped 28 of 30.

The Bombers continue on the road Saturday night at Johnstown with a 7:05 faceoff. The two teams are tied for second in the North Division. The game can be heard beginning at 6:50 on the B2 Networks.
