Daoust Headed To American Hockey League

CINCINNATI, Ohio - Cincinnati Cyclones third-year right wing Jean-Michel Daoust has been loaned to the Rockford Ice Hogs (AHL). He is the 13th player to earn a promotion to the American Hockey League from the Cyclones this season. The Cyclones are the ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Montreal Canadiens and Nashville Predators.

Daoust, a native of Valleyfield, Quebec, is making his first career trip to the AHL. The 5-foot-7, 170 pounder leads the ECHL with 22 goals and has a seven-game point scoring streak (10-3-13). He was named the ECHL's Player of the Month in November.

Jean-Michel will be in Chicago tonight for Rockford's game against the Wolves.

Cincinnati is in second place in the ECHL, one point behind Elmira for the division lead. The Cyclones are riding a four-game winning streak and will be in Wheeling tonight for a 7pm tilt.

The Cincinnati Cyclones open a three-games-in-three-nights stretch tonight at Wheeling, continuing to Reading tomorrow and at Elmira on Saturday.
