Patrick Jarrett Assigned To Reading

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League and the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League, today announced that the Monarchs have assigned forward Patrick Jarrett to the Royals. Jarrett (5'11/180) (23) started the season in Reading and scored two goals and assisted on nine others (eleven points) in fourteen games before being recalled by Manchester on November 19. While with the Monarchs, Jarrett, who was fifth round pick of the Nashville Predators in 2002, scored two goals in eight games. In a separate transaction today, forward Malcolm MacMillan was recalled by the Hershey Bears of the AHL. MacMillan started the season in Hershey and played one game, registering an assist with the Bears before being assigned to Reading. For the Royals this year, MacMillan has scored five goals, assisted on ten others (fifteen points), and registered 85 penalty minutes in twenty-two games.

The Royals return to action on Friday night (December 28, 2007) (7:05 pm). The first 1500 fans who are 21 years of age and older will receive an "R-Team/R-Town" pub glass courtesy of Molson Canadian and All Star Distributing. The game night broadcast on Friday will begin with the pre-game warm-up show at 6:35 pm on ESPN Radio in Ephrata. Streaming video is available on a pay per view basis through the B2 Networks.
